Why do I need Business Cards?
You need business cards. Everyone does. Business Cards are the foundation of professionally presenting yourself. When you can hand someone your card, you give them something to remember you by, something that allows them to contact you, and something that communicates your most basic message. Don’t be a chump who asks other people to take down your phone number or email address. Hand people your business card.
Paper
The paper you choose determines the look and feel of your card. Do you want it to be thin and smooth? Do you want it to be thick and rugged? The weight of the paper is determined by its “lb” value, which gauges the paper thickness. 80 lb is lighter weight. 120 lb is a heavier weight. If you want a specific weight, contact us and we’ll customize your printing.
Ink
The ink you choose determines what colors are printed and where. Do you want printing on just the front? Do you want printing on both sides? Your design file will determine this. Something to keep in mind is bleed. Does your design file content go right to the edge of the sheet? If so, you probably need to include 0.125″ of bleed to cut off.
UV Coating
UV Coating protects your printed piece from Ultra Violet rays. Those dangerous, powerful rays will drain the color out of the ink and reduce your print work to a bleached out shell of its original self. Protect your printing, message, and image by adding UV Coating when you know it will be exposed to sunlight.
Round Corners
Tired of being poked by the sharp corners of paper? Those corners can be rounded off. You determine if you want the corners to be rounded at 0.125 or 0.25 inches and we’ll make them much less dangerous for you. If you want to round only one or a few corners instead of all of them, just contact us and we’ll make it happen.
